Festival of Isis, circa 361-363. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.44 g, 12 h), Rome. DEO SAR-APIDI Jugate draped busts of Serapis, wearing modius, and Isis, wearing hem-hem crown, to left. Rev. VOTA P-VBLICA Isis standing front, head to left, holding sistrum in her right hand and situla in her left. Alföldi 390 and pl. VIII, 38 var. Cohen (Julien et Hélène) 5. Bricault & Mondello (forthcoming), cat. no. S&I20.8. Very rare. An impressive piece with a lovely obverse. Somewhat smoothed and with minor flatness on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
